Blame Wade Barrett, not me for telling people he was going to be there.

Reckon the main 4 matches at WM are set now

Miz - Cena
Punk - Orton
Barrett - Taker
ADR - Edge

i thought it was a bit weird when punk interfered with orton, its a quick change over when they haven't got far with him v cena, unless they're worried about how much punk gets cheered, compared to how happy ppl are to boo cena.

EPIC !!!!!!

I would say that top's Shawn Michaels' skinning the cat. That's definitely going on future Rumble highlight reels.

And congratulations on making all the way into the ring without getting injured to Kevin Nash :D

i was chuckling when i saw/read that nash had arrived and was sporting brown hair for this event, he mentioned he'd spoken to vince a few years back about coming in but it had been stressed he needed to dye his hair, he told vince no way he was doing that, after all, he was getting old now, this was him.

Looks like everyone has a price.

It also shows that TNA is just a few phone calls away from having no talent. Because, despite what they might put out on twitter etc, there isn't a guy at TNA who wouldn't drop everything if Vinnie Mac gave them a call to the big time.

Which is a shame as I think that wrestling, as a whole, has gotten very stale since the end of the Monday Night War and a 2nd promotion pushing WWE for ratings and fans would be good for the industry as a whole.

Watched the Rumble live with friends, fantastic event, great night. :D  Solid opener between Edge and Ziggler. Absolutely cannot stand Vickie Guerrero (my non-wrestling-fan mate asked how she got a job in WWE, my honest answer was that her husband died!). However, I will say that she draws huge heat from nearly every audience she works in front of, so I can't deny that she's become good at her job. Miz v Orton was okay, + women's match fine (WTF was the Natalya + weight reference on about? If they start another 'Piggy James' style angle they want f'ing shooting, esp because Natalya is slim IMO).
For me it was all about the Rumble match itself, which I found the most enjoyable in years, though it was kinda a Rumble of two halves. The bad side to it was the Corre and New Nexus dominating the whole thing - 80% of those guys just are not ready for prime-time spots on TV, no amount of pushing will change that until they get their own personalities and give people a reason to care about them. The only ones who mean anything out of the 8-10 involved is Punk and Barrett IMO.
Can't describe how awesome I found the Booker T & Nash involvement. Both these guys could teach most the cookie-cutter wrestlers a thing or two about charisma, character and star power. One of my mate's couldn't see the appeal in Nash been in it, but as a long-time fan who remembers his awesome Rumble 94 appearance it was great to see.
ADR winning it was another huge positive. Whilst I do feel it was too rushed for him to win it (getting a World or Heavyweight title shot after not having held any other belts still seems a mistake for me, but that's WWE's style I know) it was so refreshing for a relatively newcomer to break through. Was bracing myself for the predictable Cena or Orton victory when it came down to the last few. ADR and Rodriguez (sp) are fantastic in their roles, and a reason to tune in for me.
Great Rumble, well worth staying up for. :)

To be honest, thats what WWE's missing more off imo. People that get genuine heat/hatred. For what its worth I hate her.

Yeah, and unfortunately it's probably not going to change whilst they have all these cookie-cutter guys, like I said you need to have a personality if people are going to love or hate you. If you're just a muscular guy who hardly speaks, why should people care?

Re Vickie, also must (reluctantly) give Michael Cole credit for the same effectiveness. Can't stand the guy and always wish a babyface would destroy him, but again I guess that means he's doing his job.
