I really doubt you are right with that statement...In fact I would say you are very very wrong Tickle is highly regarded at FC and got a roaring reception when he renewed his contract last season.

Care to expand on this? There are at least a dozen 2nd Rowers in SL better than him (and I'm being generous there).

Thats why I said fans outside of FC. He does a good job for you, his kicking is very good but I wouldn't think there be a major clamour for his signing if he was released.

He was made an offer for Huddersfield last season (well documented), tbh we thought he would go because I think his wife wanted to go etc.
He is a player who you come to respect after watching week in and week out, a grafter. Also let us remember he was included in the GB training squad at the end of 2009 season.

I think your second paragraph about sums it up, he is a player that if you see week in week out would probably impress. All clubs have them. Average is probably harsh, good is a more correct analysis and he's not even your best second rower.
