I would say the number of major towns & cities that still have an evening newspaper outnumber those that don't.

Yes there may be plenty of towns with evening papers or at least late editions with some revisions, but that was a secondary issue (no pun intended).

speaking of such matters,do you recall 'IZAL' toilet paper ? it was like wiping yer bum with tracing paper ! We had it at school in the good old days of R & R - all of a sudden The Star seems a good option..........
