Not really because i know that Maidstone is 31 miles south east of London. therefore it is not IN London.
Your geography is as useless as your ability to develop a coherent argument against my central point that, at the moment Murray is an overhyped bottler. Until he wins something that is all he will be.

[quote="Dita's Slot Meter"]I'm bemused by your assumption that Murray is a failure just because he has been unable to win a Grand Slam yet, in his short career.
I struggle to see where i have said he is a failure. He is a very good tennis player. The best British man since the 30s and head and shoulders above the canadian and the posh guy.
I just think that at the minute he is overhyped by the british media and needs to develop some mental toughness or he will always be second best.

Durham Giant - The reason Murray is hyped is simple.....His talent and general form, coupled with his world ranking rightly give British sporting fans genuine hope that we finally have a tennis player who is capable of winning a Grand Slam.
His actual Grand Slam record so far in his short career is actually quite impressive....2 Aussie runner ups, 1 US Open runner up, 2 Wimbledon semis....In only 1 of those 5 matches as he been beaten by a player below him in the rankings.
Admittedly, his final appearances have been disappointing, but as already pointed out, on each occasion he has met players on the top of their game....Just like the Giants have found out on their trips to Wembley, when you come up against bigger and better clubs, you just have to admit you aren't upto standard yet.
Maybe one day, both Murray & the Giants will improve enough to gain a big prize?
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

He is 24 in May, so he is younger than I thought. He is ranked 5 in the world. Jokovic almost exactly the same age is ranked number 3. Jokovic was playing the best tennis of his life, so it was no surprise that he beat Murray.
I do have a sneaking feeling however, obviously just a guess, that Murray will never win a Grand Slam title as long as Federer, Nadal and Jokovic are about. So I don't subscribe to 'Murray's time is still to come''... sorry! I think he is at his peak. Well he was when he was number 2. So he is past his peak in reality.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

In the press he is reported as being tired and is thinking about having 3 months off so he can spend more time with his girlfriend.
Maybe he should use the 3 months to get a tennis coach who can work on mental toughness.
