Rovers have always released the away shirt late, but surely the whole range should be released at the same time?

Rovers feel selling the Home and Away shirts at different times makes sense and I can see where they are coming from. Before Christmas if they release both then do fans buy both or do they choose the one they like the best. I know I can't afford both at that time of year. The away shirt launched after Christmas when the purse strings are lighter would make me more likely to go out and then buy the Away shirt where i may not have done so earlier as the novelty of the shirts coming out has possibly worn off. So instead of buying one I buy two. If this wasn't the case Rovers wouldn't stick with two shirt launches.

Don't think small ears meant that Easty, might be wrong but I think he was talking about a full range of sizes being released at the same time. Seems a bit shoddy to release different sizes at different times.

Especially last season when home/away were released the same day

THat's what I meant. Just seems wierd to me.

As regards the different release dates, I can see the logic. But I personally like all out together, its not like you have to buy both at the same time. You can always save up, or birthday / christmas pressies for people.

bad management all this away shirt lark.... how can a professional outfit not have an official away kit 3 weeks before the season starts.....the money thve missed out on in merchandise sales over xmas must be staggering

My guess is they probably did want to release them both at the same time, possibly have green unveil one and mason the other but due to the issues with mason's visa/passport (i wont get into that "debate" on this thread) they have postponed the release of the away kit for as long as possible in the hope mason would be here.

i think that is complete bollox.....o'meley and fitzgibbon modelled hulls kit last year whilst they was still in sydney!! amazing what postal services can do these days...im sure they would post to tonga or wherever willie is these days

Have to say I agree 100% BBM, our merchandising is the absolute pits.
