hi bad news folks i've just heard kcfm are NOT covering our games this season they are now owned it appears by Lincs fm and are pulling away from sport they publicly pulled out of hull fc and this isnt a wind up

Only ever started listening to KCFM because of there coverage of sport. Unlucky for them they've lost one listener.

Was told this news some time back, it is not something that wasn't expected. It is expensive to have full game reports especially when you already have a station in the city covering it. Was nice to have the option of which commentary if I couldn't ever make it to games but as that rarely happened and wont be happening this season if I can help it I don't see this effecting me too much!!

Wouldn't have thought so, KCFM and the KC stadium have no longer have a link (similar name apart) as far as I'm aware.

That's right , Viking Radio covered games for a couple of seasons when they started up , thank goodness for public sector broadcasting.

I did enjoy KCFM's coverage though.
