League Express reported that Fev received a decent payment when Kyle signed for Bradford.Presume he was on contract to Fev?

The squad has been finalised, they are;

Paul Purnell, Craig Whincop, Scott Smith, Shaun Richards, Nick Tesh, Tom Flounders, Mick Rogerson (all Bentley)
Craig Hookway, Mark Roach, Ryan Rafferty, Kev Lake, Danny Hornsby (all Moorends Marauders)
Tom Holt, Steve Mills, Gavin Millward, Craig Lawton, Gaz Everton, Alex Palmer, Dave Ford, Tom Brandham (all Toll Bar).

Some good lads from all three clubs there, lets hope they dont embarrass the Dons too much! :mrgreen:

Since when has it been necessary to stay on the "subject"?

Discussions tend to develop ... that may mean they go off topic sometimes.
The alternative is more precision, less discussion.
I know which I prefer.

I know i'm just a thick froggie but where is the connection between Kyle Briggs & Dons v Doncaster Select ?
We might just as well discuss the economic situation in Botswana !

The way I read it, it evolved from the discussion on how the better players make their mark and then get picked off by bigger clubs.

The conversation cycle was:

Dons Select Players Impressing > Players getting picked up by "bigger" clubs > Have to continually rebuild a squad due to no compensation > Kyle briggs was given as an example where compensation was given

Seems a perfectly acceptable comment to make in this thread to me. and to be fair, you were involved in a lot of the middle bit! Now whether or not this thread has gone too much off topic by a debate into how conversation works is another matter
