Chorley won their 4th game in a row last night 2-1 against Mossley to cut Chester's lead at the top to 1 point. It's looking good for at least a playoff spot now after years of mediocre football it's about time Chorley had a decent team to watch. It can't be long now before a team higher up the leagues pinches Flitcroft.
Warrington Town lost to Cammell Laird to a 94th minute goal, after 3 minutes was shown for injury time. We haven't played well since losing the semi finals of the Cheshire Senior Cup to Northwich Victoria.

Good result for Chorley that, now they're just 5 points behind with 2 games in hand. They've announced the game against Chester at home in a couple of weeks is all ticket with a 3,000 crowd expected, not had a crowd that big since the last time they made the FA cup 1st round years ago.

Chester brought a great following with them last night, though I think all-ticket is a bit rash considering VP holds 4,000ish? Needless to say, I hope they stuff you
Think it's fair to say that I'm rather pleased with this signing for Leigh by the way!

Although we only picked up 1 point out of our double header against Crawley, we are still in a decent position in the playoff race and are certainly not out of the title race either (especially if we can go on another run of wins).

I'm glad I decided not to got to the Chorley/Chester game today.Over 3,200 on with 1000 from Chester and it looked like the hooligans from all over the area decided to turn out and attacked the Chester fans coming out of the ground.I can see the league throwing the book at Chorley as they were warned earlier on in the season about the behaviour of some of the so called 'fans'.

I've heard a rumour that Vaughan, who killed Chester, has taken over and decided to tell the players and Saunders that he would be sacked as soon as the takeover is completed. He told them this just before kick off.
