Anyone making the long journey up on Saturday? Hopefully will be a start of a good partnership for both sides, we had a really good time when we played one another in the CC the other year with both sets of fans getting on so well & was just a great day. Dont expect any first teamers to be playing but im sure your U21's or whatever side ya send up will be a real handful and well drilled unit just like in previous years when we played Saints & Warrington

First I've heard of this game. Anyway, can't personally but am going to the game against Salford the next day.

As TTID mentions it is to mark a new partnership between the clubs. Might adopt them as my second team - add an extra bit of interest to looking at the Championships scores.

That is one of my favourite away games in recent years, totally agree, we had a great laugh with your fans that day. Unfortunately can't see many making the journey up this weekend especially as we have a home friendly v Salford on the Sunday. I share others sentiments though, hope you go well this season.

Im sooooooooo tempted

Working on Saturday night so can't make the journey especially for an U21's fixture. I am sure a couple of fringe players will be playing as we are putting out I think 18 against Salford so could leave about 5 first teamers to come up there on the Saturday.

Really glad Rovers have got a partnership with a club that has the potential to bring through plenty of youth players. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of our young lads sent up there on loan through the season. Better standard than the youth games they play in week in week out.

The more the competitive the friendly the better for us with our local enemy Haven being the first propper fixture in the NRC the Sunday after

Yeah hopefully we can get one or two loan players from ya's because I feel one of two more additions and we can build on what I believe is a top 4 squad already

Apparently both teams wanted to play but referee said it couldnt go ahead, complete joke after we were all told it was deffinately on this morning, hope no one from Hull made the journey up like your players who got there 60 minutes before it was called off
