Well there's a talent gap on SD. There's no credible top level heels.
Now, there's guys looking to push on like Del Rio. But with Edge currently a face, you've no one on the show who you can pair him off against.
Swagger has dropped down the list since dropping the belt.
Kane's out of the picture as they've just finished that feud and I don't think it did that well so it's unlikely WWE will be pushing to have a 2nd go with it.
Ziggler, well, if he wins the belt on Sunday I will be shocked. Given he's bland, generic and not brilliant on the mic the only way he seems to get any heat is because they've paired him up with Vicky Guerrero. Take her out of the equation and he's back to going round introducing himself to everyone.
So, you've got 3 guys who've been a heel group on Raw and ready to step into that vacuum. Pushing Barret as a contender is the sensible way to go as I think the group has a very similar dynamic to the original Four Horsemen.
