Savage left WWE because he wanted to be an in-ring performer rather than the colour commentator that WWE was using him as at the time.
Really ? hahaha thats first I heared about that rumour. I always thought they just fell out because Savage went to WCW.

This was at a time that WCW where wanting to sign anything WWE related. Mean Gene. Bobby Heenan, Randy Savage etc etc they bought them all up on big contracts. there is major heat between Randy & Vince but it has nothing to do with Stephanie, this is just a rumour.

Hopefully finally starting to thaw now though - I make that a DVD, action figure and console game inclusion in the last year for the great man!

And that's why TNA is going to take iMPACT! on the road for tapings more often, to get better reactions as there current crowd are locals mixed with people on holiday. The events are nothing special to the locals and holiday makers get in as part of their park pass. Spike TV went to TNA live events in New York and noticed how much better the crowd was, so they want to try that out for iMPACT! starting with North Carolina on February 24th. The other great aspect is that they can sell tickets and merchandise.
If they can do around 10 events on the road (possibly taping 2 shows per event) dotted around the year to split up the tapings they will still do at Universal, the crowd reactions and TNA should improve.

It will take much more than rowdy rednecks to make TNA improve.

That won't help though unless the writing improves.
