Did you voice similar concerns when Ferguson was reprimanded and suspended for his comments post game and teams like Chelsea and Liverpool were allowed to verbally assault the referee after every decision went against them?

Not really, I only pick on United as I hate them the most.
Still, I like to highlight the inconsistencies within the FA, especially when it concerns United. What ban did Mascherano get after refusing to leave the pitch? Two games? I hope RDS21 gets the same treatment.
This goes for all teams, although Rooney definitely did it yesterday..:
When did it become acceptable to tell the referee to f)u)c)k off? How is that not a straight red? I see some players in the lower leagues getting sent off for foul and abusive language on soccer staurday sometimes, I suppose they are calling the refs a see you next tuesday?
Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate,
The one that used to get you in bother,
But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.

it would be 5 aside in most premier league matches, well for a couple of weeks before they cottoned on.

So you admit you are just a bitter hypocrite in this respect? Stop whingeing then.

Wasn't the same.
Both charged with improper conduct, both for refusing to leave the field. The FA can't bend the rules, they won't bend the rules when it comes to yellow cards, so they can't do it now. Two game ban, should be a certainty.

Here's a question for you; if Roy had signed Downing would it have been 'average not good enough for Liverpool signing' 'a hodgson signing, no idea, clueless'?

My god it seems like some Liverpool fans jealousy has become all consuming! Liverpool players never wave an imaginary card, they never abuse refs, they never dive and they never dispute red cards. It's like having Rafa back on one of his rants.

Yes I agree because this is imagination land where every sending off for a tackle is punished equally regardless of the severity of the tackle and where a shirt tug is punished the same as a punch in the face because they're both basically assault.
There was a difference between the two incidents. I suspect the panel might take that into account.
