It's on Sky Sports News now that Steven Pienaar has turned down a move to Chelsea and has signed a pre-contract agreement for a 'major European club'. That surely rules Spurs out of the running.
Inter? Bayern? I can't think of many places where he won't be mercilessly abused racially. He's a fool to leave Everton.
looks like you're wrong on this one unfortunately Saddened - can't see 'Arrys logic here - where's he going to play him ?

He wasn't wrong though, when he posted that it was before these offers from Chelsea and Spurs, he hasn't signed a pre contract agreement for a major European club, he's being sold.

I don't understand Stevie P. First he wants to move for money, now with Arry saying, "I'd think if Chelsea are coming in, the wages they would pay would be far in excess of what we would pay." it looks like it's not the money he's after.
He won't get a game down there. Who are they going to drop for him? Bale, Modric, VDV? No chance.

Deluded footballer syndrome, driven by a greedy agent.....He is going to keep the bench warm at Spurs (or any Champions Leaue side)....He's a direct replacement in the Spurs squad for Bentley, and we all know how regularly he got a game....
If I was David Moyes, I'd have shown him a picture of Tommy Gravesen and then asked Pienaar if he wanted to waste the best years of his career like the great Dane did.....I suppose that at least Tommy got to the mecca of club football, but even though he did that, it all went sour quickly.
Also with Redknapp, is he not the classic example of a manager who can't resist a deal, even if he doesn't need to do one??.....No wonder his managerial career is tainted with accusations of dodgy dealing, even from the early West Ham days.
Whatever his supporters say, he'd be a useless England manager, simply because he wouldn't be able to sign anybody!!
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

Unfortunately, it's a sign of the times for us I think. We have absolutely no money, without which you can't compete at all, so players think they can better themselves elsewhere, it's a challenge for him and I disagree I think he can have a really good impact wherever he goes. 18 months ago people would've said the same about Bale now look at him. We've had to send Yakubu out on loan just to free up some wages to bring players in, we're skint and we desperately need players.
