I know Green and Dobson started, not sure how they got on though as I only caught bits of it whilst I was in the car. ATEOD though, you don't take too much from the friendlies as a whole and any game time the halfback pairing have is going to beneficial to them as they go on.

Went to the game today firstly we took a good crowd, as for the game it was bit rusty in the first half Green never saw much of the ball first half, the 2nd half was much better i thought Dobbo was struggling a little when he first came back out hamstring maybe, Webbo was great in defence never really broke the line but considering we were playing the full first team squad of the giants for 70 minutes and first game back there are a lot of positives. What impressed me was the youngsters Scot Taylor and Beaumont, Craig Hall was pretty okay for first game, Briscoe went of and never came back on, don't know if anyone else noticed but Newts has put a bit of weight on, i think this was a great game to blow the cobwebs of and showed Morgan were we are at, but looking at the 2nd half display i think were gonna do pretty well this season.
I heard about Mr Alibert's exploits, obviously didn't use the off season trying to learn how to ref. Yes, as you say it's all about blowing off the cobwebs, risky game though as I remember when we played Hudds a few years ago and it roughed us up a lot and we gained quite a few injuries (as always :p ). Must have been nice to see some Rugby though, can't wait for the season!

Yeah was great to see some rugby although it was a tough game to start with and they have prob got a few bruises hopefully we won't be to sore. Webbo's defence was fab at times and I think Hall will do okay and as ever Ben cockayne was everywhere.

I've only seen Scott Taylor a few times but he looks a fantastic prospect, i hope he gets a chance if his form is better than some of the bigger names.
Thanks to the fans that came down and for you to applaud Eorl Was great to see. Great run out for the players, both teams looked a little rusty (especially the passing). Good luck in the oncoming season and will see ya then.

At fault for their first two tries and his continual lack of discipline and his high mistake rate has to be a worry.

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.
