It's a big loss as no doubt Madge had big plans for Finch which will now have to be changed.
BUT
With Amos back, Sam's ability to play #6 and Deacs still here it's not the end of the world. If this would have been a few seasons ago with Trent then we would have seriously suffered. These days we've got the squad and quality to deal with it.
Plus what a boost Finch will be later on. Add Hock back a few months later and we've got the ability to add new blood over the course of the season.

Meanwhile, Maguire revealed Brett Finch’s neck operation was a success and said the Australian stand-off is counting down the days until he can play again.
“The operation went well, and he’s been working extremely hard because he’s very keen to play for Wigan,” added Maguire.
“Brett’s a character and the boys have got a good combination with him now – the boys are looking forward to playing alongside him.”
