Asomugha, McCourty and Bodden? yes please would make a pretty good secondary the problem is there's no way in hell he will accept a 5-8m a year deal unless he REALLY wants to win, if they can find a way to bring him in I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up a Jet.

Arrington and Butler aren't too bad either and like the rest of the younger D players will be great in the next few years but like you say unless he takes a massive pay cut it's a no go. I would rather get some pass rushers anyway unless we can have both
I'm looking forward to the D developing in the next few years and can't wait for next year(if theres a season), I have been saying on here and other forums all year that whatever we do this year is a bonus, I didn't see us being as good as we have been recently but we have improved at a great rate these last few months, some pass rushers and we could be unstoppable

I think Eric Moore and Jermaine Cunningham have shown enough this year to say they're pass rushers, they might not get the flashy stats but Cunningham got hold of Manning's arm on Sanders pick and Moore is at the QB pretty much every play, add another top CB to the secondary and the sacks will come because Cunningham & Moore get close now, but with 2 "shutdown" corners, they will get that extra second to get there.
In the draft I'd be happy with a tackle, C/G and a backup NT really.

I can't remember the exact number but I'm sure we have about 14 or more players out of contract so theres a few we need to resign before we start drafting/picking up free agents, I know BB knows what he's doing but I always get nervous when the season ends

Maybe he had a poor season on purpose so he could activate the clause in his contract

Bart Scott takes things about 20 steps too far and threatens to end Wes Welkers career, nice chap
Now the NFL have got involved and warned teams that any trash talking will be used against them if there is any on field trouble. It's getting pathetic now with the NFL stepping in all the time but when complete dickheads like Scott threaten to injure players I guess they have no choice!

I hate the Jets as much as the next man but this is getting a bit boring. Can we get some NFL talk going rather than constant bitching about the Jets please?
Who's everybody taking tonight? I fancy an away double. Can see the Pack knocking off the Falcons and Baltimore winning in Pittsburgh. Be two very close games regardless.
