You have heard of players having to pass medicals before we sign them?
I think you just need to accept that Davico's demise was a very unfortunate accident, and has no bearing on this case whatsoever.
I'd say that out of all our imports over the years David Vaeliki was our most risky signing due to injury. Much riskier (at the point of signing) than either Davico or Finch IMO.

Abit worried about him getting injured to be honest neck injurys can be alot worse than people think look at pryce at the end of the season and joey johns just hope we can get him back fit soon as

Davico wasn't injured when we first signed him. He signed with Wigan in July, he first got the injury playing for Canberra the following month.
