Can't work out here whether your saying Barrett was a good signing or a bad one.
He was a good player, but like many Ozzies lately, they disappear before the end of their contracts. Barretts decison to return home left many upset including myself.

Castleford?
Lets be honest, if England ever needed an enema, they will insert it in Castleford.
What's the rumpus, Tom?

After neck surgery, I'd be surprised if he came back that quickly.

Thought he did. Guess as a last resort, that would be an option.

Whilst coaches like Daniel Anderson and Brian McLennan won championships on the back of exciting Rugby league, Maguire set out to win at all costs, evident by the way Danny Maguire was seriously injured and laughed at on the floor by the wigan players as he writhed in agony. Then there has been the constant bending back of limbs, trying to seriously maim the opposition. Even Phil Clarke has jumped on the bandwagon with his disgusting comments about the Danny Maguire incident.
I think its fitting that the 2 fairest teams in the comp, who have been on the receiving end of Wigans tactics should contest the Grand Final and make it a proper family day out instead of the knuckle dragging, salivating neanderthals from Wigan, that would pour into manchester on grand final day.
I for one cant wait to mingle with the Leeds fans and have a beer with them, rather than having to watch my arms and legs, should wigan have got there.

To re-iterate. I was being sarcastic, I should know better, it doesn't translate on net.
Barrett was a great signing, one injury spell does not make a crock player. As for Finch give the boy time, it is an injury he's not had many competitive matches to shake.

On a serious note, I hope Brett makes a full and speedy recovery. But with injuries to the neck, you can never be too careful
Please tell me your not suggesting we didnt sign an injured play in davico ??? He was well injured when we signed him one first hit up in a friendly would not rip your pectorial...Thats why it was a farce

Surely you're not suggesting we signed a player who was already so badly injurd that "one hit up in a friendly" would end his career?
You have heard of players having to pass medicals before we sign them?
I think you just need to accept that Davico's demise was a very unfortunate accident, and has no bearing on this case whatsoever.

Agreed. I don't recall anyone at the time saying the sad end to Davico's career was anything other than very unlucky for the player and the club. It was a tragedy rather than a farce.
