Going to be really tough on the road next year, although 4-4 would be nice (the divisional and a bit of revenge at the Superdome!) although we'll see, injuries this year were shocking and we're still 10-6.

I'd go one better than this and predict an 11-5 from that, add in the huge carrot of the Super Bowl being a home game.

Looks a hard schedule there so you'll need all players fit all season looking at that.

It won't matter who you have as head coach, if the GM isn't given the money to spend to recruit/retain better players then you just won't be successful.

IIRC Cleveland have one of the lowest salary spends in the NFL historically.

I think the Browns do spend less than anyone else and that'll be even more now that the owner owns Aston Villa too.

The Patriots don't really spend that much money though do they, and they've had an extended period of success.

Also if you look at it from the other side of things, the Redskins have spent a shed load of money in free agency with Dan Snyder but they've won bugger all.

It's more about making smart moves and sometimes getting a bit of luck along the way.

Where the Patriots are smart is that they don't really go out and spend big on Free Agents, tossing away guaranteed money. The last one I can remember was Adalius Thomas.

They are more prepared to trade for players such as Corey Dillon and Randy Moss. And they have an enviable habit of being able to buy low and sell high....such as Randy Moss, Richard Seymour, Matt Cassell, Mike Vrabel and Deion Branch.

They also look to have 5 of the first 74 picks in the 2011 draft. Oakland's #17 1st rounder and Carolina's #33 the first pick of the 2nd round.

This is why they stay successful.

We have 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds plus a bunch of lower round picks, we will end up trading a few for more picks in the following draft so we have more then.
Bill Belichick is a genius if he doesn`t see a player he wants he trades to move down the order, this helps us get more picks and pay a lot less to players that we draft.
He is also a very good judge of when a player is done in his system, sure he comes across as a grumpy old git but everyone loves playing for him, the ones that don't get moved on aslong as we get the compensation he thinks they are worth.

If we can draft a few good pass rushers in this draft or maybe even pick some up in free agency we will be far better than we have this year, I reckon will will pickup some more Wide recievers and maybe even another RB too if the price is right

Chiefs won't make it past the wild card IMO. Worst team in the playoffs not including Seattle.

Not helped them with Weiss anouncing he's going to Florida next season but I still think they are ahead of where they thought they'd be this season. They'll probably lose to the Ravens more due to the fact of how good the Ravens are than how bad the Chiefs are.

I'm not so sure, the Ravens should win but if the Chiefs can get their run game going the Ravens could be in trouble IMO, their Defense is not as good as it once was, on the other hand if the Chiefs run game doesn't work and they are forced to throw the ball more Ed Reed will probably end up with a few more picks to his name and win them the game.
