What a turkey! Throwing things from within a crowd typical Chelsea.

Not as cringworthy as they greatest supporters in the world only getting 35,000 because they're in mid-table.
I am not a Kopite, no, and yes i agree with your sentiments regarding the dip in attendance at Anfield. I'm a Red Manc, and i would find it just as cringe-worthy if Rooney and co pegged it towards Fergie like that to be honest. I think the only team who i would think are proper bell-ends for doing it would be City, as if a team of Mercs gives a rats bum about Mancini
In other news, The Canairies are flying in the Championship under Paul Lambert, a win today would see them second, three points off league leaders QPR.

brilliant to see The Canaries up where they belong in the upper half of division 2 - as a Norfolk lad it's great to see them doing well again - Paul Lambert is doing a fine job which means he will be poached for bigger things unfortunately.
just reminiscing here but I was there when The Canaries first clinched their first ever 1st division place - it was at Watford in the early 70s with Dave Stringer heading in the goal from a corner to earn a point to secure promotion - I was behind the goal and it was definitely one of those 'I was there when' moments...thank you Ron Saunders for building that team ...
Adebayor going on loan to Malaga according to a few of the Spanish football people I follow on twitter. Seems unlikely but they do have big money backers now, so it's not out of the question.

If they're prepared to throw enough money at Ronaldinho he could come.
Ronaldinho could be worth every penny to Blackburn. He could be to Blackburn what Ruud Gullit was to Chelsea.
I think part of the deal in bringing in Ronaldinho would include a massive footballers house in Cheshire (or another footballers enclave closer to Blackburn) and an awesome apartment in London. All transport (including helicopters, planes and limo'd Maybach) covered by the club.

I still think it's ridiculous. Although Ronaldinho is one of the most talented footballers to ever play the game I doubt he would be able to be that successful at Blackburn given the standard of those around him. I don't see one-twos between Ronaldinho and Keith Andrews happening too often.
It's yet another case of new owners buying into a football club and trying to show off their financial clout with a signing that will get people talking about the club. Another case of new owners trying to make the club run before it can walk. Blackburn aren't a Premier League outfit as it stands. Their stadium and facilities are pathetic and they don't have enough supporters to ever be a meaningful side. Why not improve the training facilities and start the work on a new stadium with the £30m they are proposing to pay to a past it Ronaldinho (Despite how good he is) and Beckham.
