Taken that a bit too literally there mate. Megson is a manager whom most people dread, and I don't know any non-Liverpool fans who would like to see him take over their club. There are at least twenty better managers in the game today than Benitez.

When you say things like 'jammy European cup win' and fail to mention his other strong 'runs' in Europe with both Liverpool and Valencia, you only portray yourself as ignorant and borderline thick.
You might not agree with the way Benitez does things, you may not agree with every player he signs and you may think that the past couple of years for him are his true 'level', but his record speaks for itself and he has as good as CV as there is at the moment.

as a neutral (THFC) Benitez seemed a bit of an enigma - he can obviously 'manage' as his record shows but it's his inconsistency with decision making that worries me (a bit like Gomez in the THFC goalmouth) - he made some dubious signings and very dodgy 'tactical' changes during numerous LUFC games - some seemed totally incomprehensible at the time - the scouse fans are not thickos when it comes to football know-how and seemed to want to support him but found it difficult due to his inconsistency IMO - or,am I talking absolute c**p ?

And he went on to have a great season in Germany. Ok he's no Kyrgiakos but he still had something to offer, as Leverkusen found out.

He was basically saying that Benitez was in the process of building a legacy at Liverpool which was interrupted by his sacking. This poster's big concern was that Rafa would end up at City where he'd be given time and money to support his vision thereby dominating the Premier League until he retires. I'm with you though lol.

The story by TB is the first time they have turned on Roy so yes its abit of a "revelation"
Might get even worse today against Bolton I would take a point right now, its that bad.

I'm way too suggestible when I've had a few drinks, accepted a freebie for Anfield this afternoon - though it could be amusing if the natives decide to revolt.

I'm actually amazed at what comes out of Hodgson's mouth. Is he intent on getting the supporters to turn on him. The ironic thing is that your fans are renowned for being behind your managers more than most.
