Anyone catch the Regal-Daniel Bryan match on monday, was great stuff. AJ Styles - Doug Williams at the latest TNA tapings is supposedly a great one too.

Shame though - if WWE had a varied approach to wrestling they could offer so much more entertainment IMO, i.e. they're so tunnel-visioned, such as watching CM Punk 5 years ago and the vets deciding that (due to his unique style) he "didn't know how to work". There's so much more to wrestling then just their way.

Great news about Regal v Bryan, will have to check that out if possible. Love both guys' work.

Yeah, if you don't work to the WWE style you don't know how to work. Regardless of what you've done in the past, you don't know how to work.

The thing with the writers and everything is just stupid. TBH, if they'd had this attitude of everything scripted, everyone looks like the same then guys like Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels wouldn't have gotten their push and the whole "release because we've nothing for you" would have meant that Austin 3:16 would never have happened as Austin would have been released once Ted DiBiase left for WCW

Kong won't make it in WWE, they don't want girls who can work, they want girls who look good in bikinis, which Kong doesn't!

Cena apparently has a 'Hip Pointer' according to Jim Ross twitter page and shouldn't miss too much time. Although I could do without his inane promos every Monday night.

New Batista? You mean he's going to get called up, do nothing, be on the verge of release, start working out with Triple H and be a Main Eventer until he realises he cba with the workload no more?

Feel like a suck-up agreeing with everything you say all the time mate ( ) but you're right with all that.

Like you say Kong doesn't fit the WWE Mould, she can out-work every female on the roster (except Gail Kim - I'd say they're equally brilliant), but Kong's achievements have all been away from WWE. Therefore in Vince's world she's never done anything in the business!

Exactly mate, instead of trying to create the new Batista, how about they try developing the new Shawn Michaels, or someone like that who had ability and charisma, not a limited jacked-up cookie-cutter-look guy who didn't get into the business till his 30's. This isn't actually a dig at Batista because his did fantastic with what he had, but IMO he's not someone to inspire new wrestlers, guys like Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels are - people who could do pretty much everything.

The worst thing now in wrestling is there's really nowhere for people to learn their craft (compared to many years ago). So instead of having a guy debut in WWE who's had 10 years experience already (like Daniel Bryan) we're seeing more guys who are green but have 'the look'.

Well look at Sheamus, isn't he a 2 time champion and has only been on the Main Roster for 18 months? Same with Wade Barrett, he's had 2 main event PPVs and was thrown into a feud with John Cena on his very first night on the main roster. Sadly there is not a lot of scope for talent to hone their craft. TNA is a joke and a career killer. Only Ron Killings has actually made it from TNA to WWE and even he was a WWE star before TNA!

The independent promotions need to get together and form a new NWA type organisation with a World Champion with thriving markets all over the country. Even this may not work as anything that is not WWE is seen as 'bush league' and 'unproffesional'.

CM Punk
Mickie James
Consequences Creed [In FCW]

Would beg to differ.

Jeff's first spell in TNA didn't harm him either.

But even Punk took awhile to get over in WWE as he had the dreaded "doesn't know how to work" stigma over him.

You can't have creed as he hasn't even made it to the full roster yet! Otherwise you could add guys like Chris Harris to that list. I had actually forgotten about Punk's stint in TNA!
