Webster has finally had the operation to fix his ongoing hip problem which he said has been bothering him for a good 2 years. With this behind him there's a real chance he can find the form he found in early 2008 when he was the best centre in SL at that particular point.

Totally agree with you webbo wants to be back to his best and I think he will wants to re pay rovers faith in him by hitting that form again, I think the other centre spot will be between welham and hall. What bout Charlie were do you think he will fit in competition is going to be so high, which means the players will have to put that bit extra in for a place.

I.M.O Charlie's best position is on the bench; he can cover in the backs, hooker or halves or even at a push loose forward.

Personally I'd go with three forwards and Charlie on the bench. So either Fisher or Hodgson would miss out. If Morgan sees Hodgson as the future first choice hooker, then play him and not Fisher.

I know what your saying but fisher on his day can rip teams to pieces personally I think Hodgson will miss out more and gain another years experience for when fisher returns back to Australia in 2012.

I personally prefer Fisher; but Hodgson needs game time to improve. It's a bit of a catch 22 situation.

If Dobbo gets injured we should have enough in the squad to cope short term, but all clubs would miss such a pivotal player if it was long term.

I agree. If, after Cooke left, Dobson got injured last year you'd have been stuffed. With Green coming in this year I think you'd be able to cope with Green/Murrell in the halves with Galea helping out.
