couldn't agree more, it was tedious at best, i'd have banned her long ago

agreed MrsB did like to derail threads but sometimes she did speak sense too, and did like a bit of banter i might add. some people are so far up there own arses they cant see that.

Mrs B is not able to join us at the moment, so it is currently a moot point. Going in to the new year, we'd like to find a way to retain the banter, humour and openess of the board, without every thread degenerating in a cross-Hull bunfight. The way in which that balance is best achieved is under discussion. There is a determination it won't be drifting back to what it had become recently. Hopefully we can attract back some of the sensible, intelligent posters who've maybe drifted away, while still having a laugh. That'd be good for everyone.

this isnt meant to derail your newton thread, but surely a bit of banter(as long as its not too nasty) is what at least 50% of the people who post/read on here go on rl fans for.if you dont like someones posts surely you can just scroll past it.
im hull but my wifes entire family are red n white(and her uncle is an ex rovers player) and i deliberatley wear a hull shirt at all suitable family get togethers just to provoke a bit of banter. as soon as i walk in i get a chorus of "who are ye" from my nieces which my daughter joins in with and its great for getting barbies/parties going a bit.
let people have a bit if fun
