Back in Feb 2009 the front cover of Rugby League World had Westernan, Shenton and Owen with the headline Cas - the future starts here. The only reason Owen is still there is because of his horrible injury last year. I think they will struggle to score points as they don't appear to have a great deal of pace in that side. If they take a few players on loan it might help them out and possibly just get a play off place. They need a stadium fast to create extra income to allow them to keep some of their talent. 8th at best.

cant see cas getting into the top 8..got a feeling they will struggle.the loss of shenton and westerman will be massive for cas..would like to see mathers do well for them but who ever plays F.B gonna struggle in that team..
In the days when there were talks of us and Widnes merging to become Cheshire i honestly thought of switching to Cas, i could never have supported the merged club and Saints/Wigan well you can forget that too. Again always had a soft spot for them but if the same was to arise (which it won't) it would be Quins now.

Danny Orr is a good signing, he will bring a good kicking game and take some of the burden of Chase. I expect a battle for 8th with Bradford, Salford and Catalan
Never get too cocky

Danny Orr and Rangi Chase is a very good half back pairing which should cause a lot of teams problems, the back line looks poor though and i wouldn`t say the pack looks much better.
