Part of the reason for our optimism lies in just how pathetic we were for long periods under SM. Apart from the Orford debacle we started last year with 2 fit props and then appeared surprised when we capitulated mid season with injuries to Lynch and Langley and Orford.

With Hargreaves, Elima, Diskin and a fully fit Kopczak we'll be much improved in the forwards which will hopefully give the much maligned backs a running chance in the oppositions half - something they saw about twice from last June onwards. We also blooded 5 or 6 young players we all feel are above average. the halves are still a problem but a tilt for 6/7th is a fair assessment.

They'll make the play off's but their squad stinks of other tops clubs unwanted garbage.

Near enough a complete new team will be turning out for Bradford..Plus a new coach think they'll either just sneak into the 8 or possibly just miss out...

I have been looking forward to these topics Mark.
As stated above Potter will tighten up their defence and they will be a more agressive team. If a lot of their players stay injury free they could challenge some top teams on their day. I can see consistency being a problem for them, Beat the likes of Saints, Leeds, Wigan one week then get turned over at Harlequins and Wakefield the next. 5th at best and a decent challenge cup run. They have quite a few players with a point to prove though.

They'll improve markedly under Potter, no question.

As much as it's nice to get revenge for the absolute batterings we took at the hands of the Bulls for so long, seeing them pale into the limp wristed, lilly livered mess they became last year was not good to see. I hope Bradford becomes a difficult place to go to again (that we win at most times!).

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

Apologies if I confused you. I think they will improve under Potter - he's got to be better than McNamara.

Getting rid of the McNamara drag factor, bringing in a proven coach, adding a bit of depth and getting rid of the likes of Sheriffe, Worrincy etc will see us get 7th or 8th I reckon.
