Lashed already, you're worse than me.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
In November 2009 in his online Q&A, Neil Hudgell said season pass sales were "comparable with this stage last year"
In December 2010 sales of 5500 are declared as up on this time last year.
Comparable - suggesting sufficiently similar for comparison. So not actually odd at all - just spin. You're familiar with spin?
It'll be interesting to see what effect the ongoing developments at CP have on season tickets in coming years. While I can only imagine it having a positive impact on matchday attendance, I wonder if pass sales will actually improve - if you know good facilities are likely to be available on the day, and you know you'll miss the odd game... Rovers must have one of the highest figure for passes as proportion of attendance and to some extent I assume that is driven by the limited 'good' capacity.

Quite. The figures, if correct, look strong to me and will have brought in much needed revenue at this time of year. Ultimately the vital thing for Rovers is not necessarily to increase season pass sales but rather to increase actual attendances at Craven Park.

Have you reached your Magical 5000 yet? I've been waiting nearly a week to hear the sound of trumpets for the 5,000th season pass purchaser to be crowned. It stands to reason, 9500 sold last season, and that being your most successful season for a number of years, that the 9500 should be easily obtainable. It seems to be a bit quiet over there on season pass sales though, come on Mrs B, give Rovers a rest for a day or so and let us know when you reach the 5,000 sale, i know they were hopeing for it last weekend, but surely with the weather improving in West Hull, it will be bought this weekend.

TBF, they may have reached that magical 5,000th sale already but with the publicity, photo shoots that will be required by the HDM, the winner may be to embarrased to allow this
