It seems the Newcastle board are massively out of touch with reality. Hughton got them back into the premiership and got them mid-table on no money. I really can't see what "someone with more managerial experience" could have done better in his place
They wouldn't.
Mike Ashley wants to run the club on a very low budget it seems, and i don't think it is a coincidence that Hughton has probably been on a very low wage in comparison to other Premier League managers, and has been a good manager that has provided stability and gained promotion for the club/team, to the Premier League.
Then, when his contract is near it's expiring date, and therefore would no doubt have needed an improvement, he is sacked.
