Replacements in the half-backs from senior players struggling for place in first 17 would be Grix or Clarke or they might shift things around to play Monaghan or Bridge in the half-backs or O'Brien has been playing consistently good rugby for the u20's for two seasons now and is playing stand-off for England u18's tomorrow.

So a choice between Monaghan, Bridge, Grix, Clarke or O'Brien. Obvioulsy this showws we have little cover because we have no strength in depth, apparently.

Very badly, in the case of Bridge and particularly Atkins.

We were 2nd in the league for tries last season with 162 I reckon if Hodgson and Joel click in the team an stay fit we will score more in 2011.

it's an unbelievable three quarter line. potentially the best in sl. i think some squad rotation would be good to make sure riley
is in the mix as he has been outstanding for us.

Its a big back line especially with King and Monaghan as the likely wingers, Atkins apart our three quarters looks as though it will lack a bit of out and out pace though.

Thats no bad thing if we utilise a game plan to match our strengths, Tony Smith has already proven with us that he`s a great tactician especially in the final against Leeds where we went with 3 hookers to nulify their threat down the middle.

I can see even more high kicks coming next season to utilise both Matt King and Joel Monaghan`s height, we should be very powerful out wide when were in the oppositions 20 with so many big runners hitting the oppositions line.

I hope we persevere with Myler. Yes he's still got a lot to learn but he's still only a kid and won't improve sitting in a suit in the stand. Yes his defence isn't brilliant but i've never seen him shirk a tackle even when the opposition continually pick him out for runners. He does need to take us forward more and I'm sure that will happen as his confidence increases. That will only happen with him playing consistently.

Can't afford to let Myler rot in the stands, get disillusioned, transfered to another club, and then lost to the game within a few years.
Myler is a talent well worth nurturing, though this all depends on how he reacts to his disappointment for the back end of last season. We need someone on the pitch (other than Riley) with pace.
