i wonder if in some kind of way it might be better if the aussies rip through us this morning. it would get rid of all doubt regarding a declaration and the english bowlers would get some confidence if the pitch misbehaves a bit, especially swann.

we had the full monthly average rainfall on sun afternoon..we dont get much rain in adelaide this time of year, and todays game has been stopped at the moment due to more rain...for england to fail to get a victory at the oval due to the rain would be a miracle for the aussies.. 3 days of rain in december is unheard of
