time will tell whether salford have built a decent squad or not, some of their signings look excellent whilst some look distinctly average to me.
Newton Clinton Vella Mason Dobson Webster Galea Briscoe. Realistically all those players could well be on 100k+ that's half of your salary cap on eight players alone. With the like of Green lovegrove fox Cockayne murrell not being on peanuts it doesn't leave much for the rest of the squad. There's obviously backhanders galore going on all over the place throughout the league. I would imagine there's only the likes of us cas quins who actually play by the rules and that's probably only because we don't have the money to break them!

Before you discredit the article, remember they were spot on with the McDermott bit, so obviously have the inside track.
The article was before Rovers had signed Mason and it says
