It was a cracking night.

It certainly ranks up there as one of my favourite moments in football.

My throat is still trying to recover though.

Managerial changes at Genesis

Sad to see Maddo go as he was an absolute pleasure to work with, but hopefully this change might see us start to pick up a few more wins.

Off to watch Wrexham saturday. On my doorstep. Is the standard any good?

We have improved this season but at times we still tend to 'hoof the ball up to the big striker'.

However against Grimsby it should be a good game and a test of both sides promotion credentials.

Will this be your first visit to The Racecourse?

2-0 win over Grimsby, cracking performance from Wrexham and now 5th in the table :)

On you at decent odds for the title (unlikely you will overtake all of the top 3) and promotion (looking good for the play offs I'd say) so the more wins you get the better.

The 2 games in 4 days v Crawley next month could be decisive.

Shame you draw so often but I guess if you can turn them into wins it really is game on for the rest of the season.

Thats why I hope Crawley beat Torquay in the 4th round as the 5th round is scheduled for the week after the first of our 2 games against Crawley and they may have one eye on the 5th round.

Anyway draws are a problem but as long as we don't lose games then its not too bad. Southport away in our next league game (depending on possible FA Trophy replays, we're away at Salisbury) won't be easy as they beat Newport last weekend but we should go into that game in a confident mood.
