Lies, damned lies and statisics Mrs Barista
As said, feel free to check. Point being that even if I've deliberately inflated all Rovers players ages by 1 year, it would still mean there was very little difference between the average age of the 2 squads. So do you agree that Rovers fans mocking FC as a retirement home look stupid in the context of the similar ages of the squads?

Where not going to get the same player who ripped up the NRL for Canterbury but Im sure we will get a more mature Mason.
It could be a rollercoaster of good and bad but Im going to enjoy the ride that is Willie Mason!
is this the same player whos was a bench warmer at north queensland cowboys when he could get a game at all big willy more big white elephant me thinks!

i think the point some, not me mind, rovers fans calling the kfc a retirement home is that a lot (not all before you start mrs b) of your signings have been at the ar5e end of their careers and the wrong side of 30 (i'm sure you'll reel a few of that rovers have signed).
Feel free to twist this round in your favour as you usually do

It wasn't funny when it was first posted on the FC forum what makes you think it will be funny the second time around?
Mrs Barista wrote:You are right about Taylor, he'll be 20 not 21. Feel free to correct the others you are implying are wrong. The issue is that posters such as Zod continually claim that Rovers have a far younger squad. Do you support this claim?
What like the fact in todays Hull Daily Mail "The 31 year old Mick Vella" will somehow be 33 come next March

Indeed. But the point is, whether the odd age is out by a year or so or not where there are differences between slstats and wikipedia etc, there's bugger all difference between the ages of the squads, so those claiming we're a retirement home are either talking $hite or Rovers are also a retirement home.
Are we still counting down? If you could let us know the current ETA of your Tongan superstar, that would be helpful. At present it's like having an advent calendar but getting a new set of doors each week.
