You'll have a laugh at this. Walked into asda before school this morning, went to look at the wire gear, and there was the shirt. I thought to myself, hang on a min, that dosen't look right. Then it dawned on me that the Bensons For Beds Logo was upside down.

I also believe that the club are not trying to rip people off but you have to ask questions about the person at the club who signed these shirts off to go into mass production, the club should have been sent a final sample shirt from ISC before it went into production where it gives the club a chance to raise its concerns over the quality of the shirt or the colour shades used etc. They have to come to the final opinion that the shirt that ISC is offering warrants the £45 that they will be asking for it, it doesn`t by a long way.
How anyone at the club can think that the fans home shirt for this season is worth £45 is beyond me, ive seen it close up and it looks and feels like cheap tatt. They must think that fans will buy any old cheap rubbish as long as its got the club badge on, wrong!
My money will be staying in my pocket as far as merchandise goes for this coming season, ive not seen the training range in person yet but from the images ive seen so far it looks bland and poor. I`m the type of person that would go into the club shop and easily blow between £100 - £150 on quality clothing, until they get some quality clothing i won`t be spending a penny.
As for the online shop, thats a waste of space. It rarely gets updated and you more often than not get confronted with blank pages or stuff thats been hanging around for ages. Using the new training range as an example, if its not in stock yet your still far better off having photos of the items on the site where it says "Coming soon!" rather than being confronted by this which is a blank page
I`d love to be giving the club hundreds of pounds each year on merchandise but until they get some quality clothing in for people to buy then i`ll be swerving it. The only good thing about our retail set up from what ive seen are the girls that work in the club shop, they are always friendly with a nice smile.

I don't agree that the quality is poor. That is only my personal opinion, as is your contrary view. However, as I said earlier in this thread:-
Quote:You have every right to your opinion on an item of clothing and to vote with your wallet.
If the quality is crap, then I have no doubt that will be made abundantly clear to the club. I also think they will do something about it - as they did last year to be fair. Certainly, if they sell less merchandise that will be taken very seriously indeed.
I know you're not suggesting anything to the contrary Rob but I don't want to confuse Flying Biscuit any more than is absolutely necessary.
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
