Face it, England were supposed to be the better team going into this match, but 3 days in they have proved little of that. Anyone watching this match can clearly see the Aussies are still better than England, in every department, and if England get crushed in this test, it just sets it up for the usual hammering England get when they go to Australia!!

I see little point in discussing this with you as you obviously know little about the game....Yes, Siddle took 6 wickets, but I'd actually suggest that Anderson has bowled twice as well as him in this test.

I'm not saying that the Aussies won't deserve to win this test, but to suggest it sets them on course to batter us again is being extremely pessimistic....As I said, take away the freakish 300+ partnership (which happen very seldom) and this game would be on a knife-edge.

How can I miss you, if you won't go away????

I dont care if you think Anderson bowled the best spell of bowling the game has ever seen, fact of the matter is he only took 2 wickets and went for nigh on 100 runs. Looking like taking wickets and actually taking them in test match cricket is a totally different thing. The highlights might look good for Anderson, but the scorebook doesn't lie. Fact is England folded under the pressure with the bat, as usual, and their bowlers hardly looked like getting a wicket. Swann is supposed to be the number 2 bowler in the world - has he shown anything like that in this game so far? No!

Is Swan one of the many South Africans in the England side?

Now that I will agree with you on, haha.

And no, I don't think 5-0 at all, I said 2-1 England or 2-2 before the series started, but if England want to achieve that, they are gonna have to improve a hell of a lot on this performance so far.

I agree. I think we will improve and the point I was trying to make that apart from Hussey & Haddin, the Aussie performance hasn't been much better.

Admittedly, Siddle bowled well, but England seemed intent on giving him cheap wickets, whereas Anderson had no luck against Hussey & Haddin.

Yes, we have to improve, but this is definitely not an unbeatable Aussie team.

Personally I feel England bowled well and very disiplined at the Australians in there First Innings. Brad Haddin and Mike Hussey but on a freak partnership that will be the highest partnership of the series.

I would like to see England show a statement of intent tonight. If we can smash 350 or so today and another 100 on the 5th morning I would like to see us declare and send the Aussies in. That pitch will be horrific to bat on the 5th day.
