hes gonna get a drop in salary anywhere he goes but if i was him id probly choose crusaders over castleford plus refering to other posts on this page, sammut signed a contract extension and is staying put no chance of him leaving and to the hull fan yes you probably have ONE OF THE best stadiums in league it is pretty dull on games against quins or catalans without a pindrop where knowone cares but in big games when the fans are rockin yeah crackin place to be

I highly doubt he would choose us over Cas, also I don't really want him, good player? Undoubtedly. But with our well known money issues I dont want us to spend big bucks on a player who might not hang around for very long

I take it you never sampled the atmosphere at the Boulevard, If you had, you wouldnt be praising that atmosphere free concrete bowl. It may look nice, but the KC has no soul, like most of the new stadia, Warringtons being the exception.
welcome to rugby league sonny
my girlfriend says i'm immature, and it's time we set aside one day a week so we can talk things through as adults. like THAT'S gonna happen in the middle of conker season!!

I think you are confusing hostility with soul, sonny. And yes I have been to the Boulevard on several occasions thank you. How is your concrete bowl coming along?
ambernotyeller wrote:Have Hull got a new ground ?? Because you cant possibly be referring to that soulless , no atmosphere concrete bowl they played at last year. Its not a patch on the Boulevard
soulless,no atmosphere concrete bowl isnt a patch on the boulevard haha dont make me laugh, the boulevard was a terrific little stadium that has so many memories for our fans and is missed but regarding atmosphere the noise at the boulevard just came from the old threepenny stand apart from the odd time. the noise at the kc is absoulote terrific at times but it can also be very quiet like most grounds old and new, the kc is the best ground in super league by none. the problem is that fans like you cant move on and accept that the sport needs its teams to get new stadia, look at hull as a club going from getting 5-6k to 14k, losing x amount of money every year to making nice healthy profits, i dont think i need to go on do i.

Do you only read what you want to, I praised Warrintons ground, a proper rugby league ground, unlike your soccerball stadium.
As for your club turning itself around, well that has nothing to do with the RFL giving them a million quid to pretend to merge with Gateshead, then dumping Gateshead and slmost putting them out of business. One of the most shameful episodes of Rugby League history, and every FC fan should be reminded of every now and then that FC are a relatively new club and were bought by the RFL (Huddersfield too) and you should hang your heads in shame .
So before any FC fans have a go at any other fans , they should remember they were the RFL's puppets not so long ago.
Enjoy your rented atmosphere free soccer stadium

Again your ignorance knows no bounds, our stadium plans are similar to the Halliwell as in it will be a proper Rugby League stadium not a concrete rented bowl. It always amuses me that the supporters whos teams rent these soccer stadiums see themselves in a position of strength when in reality if the premier league decide they dont want multi use stadia they are out on their arses begging to share at a Rugby league ground, the example being Wigan in the playoffs the other year, when the PL said they werent allowed to use the soccer ground and had to move the game, also the season they had to move most home games to the end of the season on the PL's orders. As a sport i think its a showing up when this years deserved champions dont even have their own ground, They should be made to invest in their own premises like the rest of the league. All those renting , should be made to build their own Rugby League grounds, the sport will die without that infrastructure.

Why don't you pop over to Wrexham FC's red passion forum and ask the football fans if the Crusaders payed any rent whilst playing at the worlds oldest international football stadium, Cae Ras last season? While Wigan Warriors may play second fiddle to the football team fixture wise, it's not so at the KC Stadium. The team at the business end of season get preferential treatment, it's called sharing. I will my reserve my judgement on Castlefords new stadium until its actually built

Sharing my booty, its called ducking your responsibilities and copping a cheap option whilst others strive to provide their own stadia. All those without their own Rugby League ground should be made to build one , just the same as the rest and stop scrounging an easy ride. Tell me honestly, is their one new stadium that is more exciting to visit than its predecessor (spelling ?). If it wasnt for arguments sake , you would admit that last fact to be true.
God help Rugby League
