That happens in most contractual work. As for the floods there were never enough builders/plumbers/sparkys etc in Hull to cope with that demand.

I now understand why HKR didn't come out shouting from the rooftops that we had this funding in place. It seems we technically are a little nearer to getting the new North in place as if we dont get this last grant its still a none starter. I also appriciate the clubs position and accept they have had to play it down a tad as many folks myself included though it was a done deal. I wont pretend im not a tad disappointed and a little frustrated but its still progress none the less.

Often over seas signings are contracted to do community work as part of their role.
If we get Big Willie to do some fund raising for the bratwurst boys then the EU can free up the remaining money for the North stand, we could even name it "The Big Willie Sausage Stand".
