Are you related to Gillian McKeith, annoying, droning on, negative drama queen and ensconced somewhere where no one else there wants you around. Shame we can't have a phone vote and get you evicted..

That's actually a very good analogy when you consider what McKeith does for a living!

Whilst this is obviously very good news for Rovers i can't help thinking they would have been better off redeveloping the West Stand rather than build this new North Stand.
Does anyone have any idea how this new stand is likely to look and what facilities it is likely to have??

This is out of the old pdf, not much info.
It came with this brief quote;
Quote:Hull KR wrote. "Ground re-development is still seen as a priority to increase the stadium capacity and spectator comfort. Plans for a further East Stand extension, together with a redevelopment of the South Stand, form part of the long-term plans at Craven Park. Planning permission has already been granted to build a six-million pound all seater multi-purpose North Stand with state of the art business and conference facilities."
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

12 months according to press releases issued yesterday. Possibly reduced by 400 if the Golf Stand goes to the South end, the loss of 1,600 spaces on the South Terrace being offset by the additional 1,200 in the extended East Stand.
As your club can't muster 1,200 to East Hull, I fail to see how this could affect you.

12 months sounds long, Wakey and Cas will have a shiney new 12000 capacity gound up in that time. I'd have thought around 7 would be about right.
