Has someone been messing about with the picture of the Wigan shirt?
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

WW: Hello, is that ISC. Warrington Wolves here? ISC: Yes, how can we help you? WW: Slight problem. Those shirts? Our fans don't like them. ISC: Oh dear, sorry to hear that; why? WW: Two issues. Firstly, they say the quality is poor. ISC: Well, it's made out of cotton, it's the same stuff we use for other similar style shirts and it's durable. Have they fallen apart? WW: Hard to say, they've only been on sale 5 minutes. ISC: And they're saying the quality is poor? WW: Apparently so. Second issue is...they don't look like the players version. ISC: In what way? WW: Well, the collar is different and the hoops aren't aligned in the same way. ISC: And they're complaining about that? WW: Yes. ISC: [Hangs up] WW: Hello...hello?
Why would they ring up ISC to complain, it's nothing to do with them. The club would have agreed to this top and there would be no come back. If enough people boycotted buying the top or complained to the club they would have to do something. Too many people in todays society want to complain but not actually make the effort in doing something about it.
I think peoples main beef with this is they are paying £45+ for a top that is different from the playing top.

The club contract with ISC. ISC are their supplier. If the club receive a complaint that they believe is well founded thaen they're only recourse is to speak to ISC. That is my point. Unless there is something wrong with the quality (and I don't see how anyone can sensibly argue that) then they have made a decision on a style and are stuck with it or, in the alternative, they can ask for a new batch.
I think you're right, I think people are complaining because it's different from the player top. But as I've said about 100 times now, to call into question the club's integrity on this issue (as has happened on this thread) is wrong in my opinion. People might not like not being able to pretend they look just like the players, but it doesn't mean the quality is crap.

Agree, still looks awful.
Applicado are a consultancy company from Wigan. Decent amount of money, simple sponsor. That's definately not a problem with the shirt (Although it would have look better in white text)
