Listen Marble Loser
Im fully aware of Betfair in Australia, but Ive very rarely seen that volume of money waiting to be matched on a market. There was thousands at every price both on the back and the lay side. And a full 16 hours before the event started. Anyway Harris Tweed finished 5th so still nothing to collect !!
Firstly in the Haldon Gold Cup, i expect Somersby to be too good for the field.
A very classy individual and is very well in at the weights. Should run a decent race.
I also expect Imsingingtheblues to be on the premises, who was going very well at Aintree the other day in the Old Roan, before tipping up down the back straight.
Somersby to win, and Imsingingtheblues to place.
The other horse, is Court In Motion, who i know Emma Lavelle is very confident and excited about. He goes in the 4.35 at Exeter in a Novice Hurdle over 2 mile 5. Should be a good race for him and i expect him to get his head infront.

I was on Imsingingtheblues at Aintree and was encouraged with how he went until he came down so I'm expecting him to go well, I'll be on again. Expecting to see a big run from Twist Magic, Nicholls always has his horses at their peak for a run and I'd fancy a little each way, he'll run all day and could sneak into the places, he's good enough to win this one but he's never really reached his potential.

Twist Magic is giving lumps of weight away today, and with horses like Somersby in proximity, i cant see him winning.

He is giving a lot of weight to the others, It's what will destroy his chances if the ground's heavy. Still think he's worth a little ew. Imsingingtheblues is nicely weighted, I'm hoping for a big run.

I agree with Imsingingtheblues, i didnt back him at Aintree, but he was my 'would be' bet if i were to have a bet in the race, as i thought he was quite well in at the weights and i have always thought he is a horse with decent ability.

LH - 5131O1P3 RH - 11111U3
Looks good on paper - his unseating was when held behind Deep Purple at Huntingdon whilst the third was when attempting to concede 2 stone all round at Fontwell on his latest start.
First Time Out - 511
Won on his season return for the past two seasons - the fifth placed finishing was also his rules debut in a bumper at Chepstow (record at the track 511).
He's yet to race at Exeter but the track should suit him and the long straight will help him.
Record on Soft - 11O11 (ran out at the last at Cheltenham when going ok).
He's yet to race over a trip this short which for me would be the only doubt but he beat the Champion Chase runner-up Forpadydeplasterer over 2 1/2m on his return last season so I'd expect a bold show for his new stable (another positive IMO) with the only other possible negative bar the trip is the presence of other front runners in the race (providing new connections employ the usual tactics).
At 33/1 he's well worth a bet each-way for one of his profile and with just the five of the nine horses in the handicap.
