Steve McNamaras coaching CV is outstanding! Take SL & World Club champions and turn them into also rans, sign loads of average players and coach any ability that they did have out of them and virtually run the club into the ground!

In McNamaras defence from a Bradford point of view, the Bulls don't really have the spending power they once had under previous coaches with each getting less to work with than the last. Where once they had the likes of Vainikolo they recently had the likes of Rikki Sherriffe (!) and all the time the Mathew Elliot dynasty has been watered down too many times to even mean anything.

All that said, I really do not rate Steve McNamara. A top assistant coach, but not head coach (IMO)

Agreed, the money is not there like it used to be but i have seen quite a lot of Bradford games and the man clearly can not motivate a team, regardless of the quality of players.

so,what do we do then ? demand that the RFL get yet another new coach on the back of two losses ? or do we give him to the next WC to prove his worth ?
the England job is a poison chalice - it's a no-win situation where we are too good for the likes of france etc but usually struggling to keep up with the big two even without the dodgy refereeing decisions.

Don't do anything. When Donny aren't playing i watch Bradford, so i'm just glad he's not at Odsal anymore!

The desire for a top English coach unfortunatley does not stand up when the best coaches are Aussie....

There seems to be more top players and coaches going back to Oz than coming this way...

Mcnamara played far too many players out of position and injuries did not force all these.

I think one final point is the length of the season with the new playoff structures etc, are players looked knackered in the warm up game...

Only my thoughts but I find it hard to watch knowing that we will always be just within that 16-20 margin...

PS what was having PSG in the mix all about? Surely France would offer a better 4th team? :?:

There's no I in team......but there is a me!

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

don't blame you going to Odsal tho' it must have been painful last season ?

Mick Potter is a good coach and i'm sure would be welcomed back at Perpignan anytime - put it this way,ANYTHING has to better for the Bulls than last season !

Every Dragon fan without exception, find it incredible Elima was allowed to leave

The other half is from Bradford and we lived there for quite a while. MP will turn the Bulls around i'm sure, as you say the only way is up!
