I did wonder when we signed Hall. At his age he (Ratu) needs to be playing more regularly and there doesn't look to be too much prospect of that at (HK) Rovers. If there was anything in the Washbrook rumour this could free up a spot. Just speculating.

The enhanced search function means quota-basing for all. Joy. I'm sure there were high hopes for Ratu that have now fallen rather flat. We'll keep this one sensible and forward looking though.

Ratu certainly for me had a raw ability that needed fine tuning. I dont understand the reasoning unless he felt that he was too far down the pecking order to get a regular game time and the club were happy to release him?

IMO he never looked fit enough, always seemed to be injured and when he did play he was short of match fitness, I reckon with a good pre season he will prove a good player somewhere.

You talking about Jake Webster?

Seems a bit premature with the season 3 months away yet, unless this is something that Morgan believes will do him good long term i.e. like Liam Watts when he went to Gateshead? Welham trained hard and got his chance a couple of seasons ago in front of Webster or Walker I can't remember which? Can't see any reason why Ratu can't do the same. Though out injured quite a bit he showed good signs after a few games under his belt imho, had a really good game against Hudds away when we drew. There's nothing to say Hall will be better than Ratu given the same chance?
