Doing better than you expected El Pac or what?

Not really. I tipped em on the York board to make a run at the playoffs. I do fear for them should the owner lose interest. Same as Crawley. If either of those teams fails to make the football league this year or next I think they will be in big financial trouble.

Honestly, I know Fleetwoods chairman and trust me, one thing he wont do is get bored.

Plus, the plan was never to reach the football league this year and there is no way we will be in big financial trouble

So your telling me if something was to happen to the Fleetwood chariman, a la Brooks Myleson, the club could continue with it's current extravagant spending and wage budget? I'm sorry but I'd fail to see how. I hope it works for you but it could all get very messy if something goes wrong.

No, you said "should the owner lose interest", which he stated he wont. Then you say "should something happen to him", shifting the goal posts. But yes, that is a possibilty, but you could say that about 90% of the teams who rely on some sort of cash help from owners. I know there is a lot of jealousy but thats fine, nothing wrong with enjoying the ride whilst it lasts

True I worded that poorly. Maybe it's envy as my club is having to live within it's means while others spend money they can't really afford. Should something happen to the men in charge of Fleetwood and Crawley in particular then I think it's a fair assumption that they would do something akin to Weymouth. Hope for your sake your right.

Im sure at somepoint it will. But hes brought in hundreds of jobs to the town and given the place a huge lift so nothing wrong with enjoying it while it lasts

May I be the first on here to say a huge congratulations to FC United on their win tonight. Unbelievable stuff and a huge reward for the volunteers etc who have worked their nads off for the past five years to get the thing off the ground.

Umbelievable stuff it was indeed Matt. A truly memorable night which I think will stay long in the minds of everyone at the club. To echo your sentiments, I hope that everyone involved in the day to day running of the club takes some time to wallow in the glory of a fantastic acheivment.

You couldn't photoshop a photo better!

I'm no supporter of the FCUM malarky, but i'll save that for another time, the other day will live with you's lot forever and images like that are iconic to football so i'm not going to sit here like a b*tch and try and take that away from you when you're all, quite rightly, on cloud 9 at the moment.
