yup theres more of this to come, especially with clubs who players were not paid for just playing but for their image, like the right to use their names on shirts etc etc, anyway were out of it now so we can watch and relax.
But anyway, image rights or no image right, 160K is a bloody big rabbit for any private individual not directly involved in RL to pull out of the hat for a cause like this. It's given the Newmarket project and the club itself massive momentum. When we're finally stood/sat in the new ground watching our team play, we owe this fella a lot of thanks.

Agreed. The guy is Philanthropist (a brief definition for amber and foulmouth-someone who gives for benefit of the wider community) if there ever has been one. A true son of the Merrie city.
Again thank you Uncle Roders!

I love this city, this is my town. We get a week out, without a doubt, gunna sing it out loud. i love my city this is my town, we get a week out, without a doubt, gunna sing it out loud

Is Sir Rodney from Wakefield ?
Science flies people to the moon. Religion flies people into buildings.

I'm sure Sir Rodney will have his reasons for doing this, but I doubt it will be anything to do with Philanthropy.
Some people think I am a schizophrenic, but they don't really know us.
