It was the move that a coach that isn't used to winning would make I'd dare say. Theres a whole half of football to go. Why try to win it there and then? Especially when the opposition has the ball. 3rd and 24 and it's a no-brainer timeout. 2nd and 24 there is no need and it's given your guys the foothold in the game they needed.

Feel sorry for Blount. 3 great carries I'm the game have all come back for stupid penalties.

You have to hand it to Josh Freeman though. He has balls of steel! If we can get Blount in on more plays this season we will have more success. It was no coincidence that Josh started playing like he can when BLount was at RB.

Yep fair play to Freeman. It was a good drive. Helped a lot by our incompetent play calling in the 2nd half that ensured our defence spent most of it on the pitch.
