I don't understand what you're getting at here. Applauding England's most talented player getting a big hit? :?

Englands best player or not he is a tw@ of the highest order.
He is an annoying little scrote who cannot keep his gob shut so much so that the ref had to actually tell him to shut it today.

Sorry, but that sounds like sour grapes grudge-bearing for his excellent, some would say match-winning, performances against Rovers in their last 2 meetings. Tomkins is a sublime player and has more talent and potential than any other player of his generation IMO. At 21 (I think) he will have some youthful arrogance commensurate with his ability, and this will probably diminish as he matures, but I look forward to seeing Wigan purely to see him.

I think in a game where we did score a fantastic try, in which Tomkins, obviously, had a hand, you pick out 3 highlights as England players not doing very well as the highlights as a bit, well, mean and unnecessary.

My view on Sam Tomkins has not changed just because of last season.
My views were exactly the same in 09.

You seem to be under the impression that being a talented player means you can't be a tw@ as well.
This is untrue.

Shaun Edwards was a brilliant player but he was also an utter tail.
Does that make me not appreciate him or Tomkins?
No it doesn't but neither does it stop me seeing the players other side.

Also have you highlighted you annoyance on the VT as well as on here or do we only get the pleasure?
I hope you have stated your view on there as well as on here as we wouldn't want you to seem to be only looking for an arguement on the HKR forum would we as that could be viewed as trolling.

Ooh, are you in charge of me now?
Look, as an Englishman, why would you pick 3 incidents that reflect badly on English players as your highlights of the match when we scored a fantastic try unless you were looking for a reaction? Makes no sense. Tomkins is annoying to the opposition perhaps, hence Morgan's comments on needing a lassoo or elephant dart to stop him, but I think it's harsh to say our only potential matchwinner taking a massive hit was the best incident of the 80 minutes.

Because we were bloody awful and laughing was all that got me through the game.
Yes we scored some crackers but we only got the chance cause the kiwi's didn't put us out of our misery.
The thought of us coming up against the Aussies with that team it a painful thought so instead of saying 'woe is me' I lightened the mood a tad.
Have your tablets ran out or something?
You seemed to be in such lighter mood recently.

I am in a good mood, I'm just a massive Tomkins fan. Think he's amazing. My mood has been dampened a little by the Briscoe-Bailey straight swap and Paul Cooke coming back to the KC, but Matt Cardle has cheered me up.

Ah well that it you see you can't see S Tomkins impartialy.
The lad can play and has natural talent of that their is no doubt but he also acts like he has genetalia covering his eyes.

An example of how you have to change to your inviroment was the Ginger Whinger today.
At 1 point he approached the ref unlike his normal tack where he comes in f'ing and Geof'ing today he politely asked offical why the try was dissalowed he said all this with his hands behind his back like some little school boy.
When he didn't get the answer he wanted what did he do?
He politely said 'ok sir' and then pulled a face which clearly said 'well I dont agree with that but ok he isn't gunna change his mind' he normally would have bawled the ref out but he knew he had to tred carefully as the Aussie ref didn't give a frig who he plays for in SL and he doesn't know him.
Tomkins on the other hand had his usual 'Im so great EVERYONE can kiss my booty' attitude.
He was lucky the ref didn't card him TBH.

Sam Tomkins would grace any team in the world right now, if hes arrogant its because he can do it and get away with it, and if England are going to do anything on the international scene we need a fully fit and firing Sam Tomkins.
I thought Ben Westwood had a good game, ran hard every time, unlike Fielden, Ellis and Burgess. Shentons going to be a big loss, this is why Gleeson should have been out there IMO.
