No. There is a 28 day period for legal challenge and Government Office have to decide if it should go to Public Inquiry. Also the matter of the Highways Agency Article 14 Notice has to be dealt with and the Developer now needs to apply for Detailed Consent for the Stadium and infrastructure.
The Developer will deal with the HA's concerns and I cannot see a Public Inquiry being called. The Planning decision was unanimous and the objectors have been led by a NIMBY who appears to have little credibility. It will in my opinion it will be passed back to Wakefield MDC who will rubber stamp it.
If YorkCourt submit a detailed application at the end of November we could have consent early in the new year and start building straight away with completion in time for the start of the 2012 SL season.
Great day for the Club and we can now start to build and look forward.
A big thank you to TRB, SWAG and all involved and not forgetting Ted Richardson who never gave up after Thornes Park collapsed.
Again a big thank you from Sandal Cat to all concerned, you have made my day - I'll have to celebrate with a few tonight.
