I was just saying the same to my Dad, smart move by Man united!

A lesson from "England's Brave John Terry" (Trademark) I think.

Infer that City are hovering with lots of cash, and bag yourself a 220k per week contract.

Clever work by Stretford.

In all seriousness I am really pleased he has agreed to stay, he is our best player and whislt he maybe out of form right now he will come good again. After the meetings yesterday I thought he might be about to do a u-turn so well done to Fergie!

Apparently Gazza turned up with some beers and fishing rod and talked him out of leaving.

Clever work by Stretford? How do you work that out. Rooney has a lot of bridges to build with the fans of United (the true fans, not the ones who will forget all about it now he's put pen to paper). This could be his United career ruined. He would've been paid the same regardless of this carry on.

I personally think this is to make the last 7 months at the club bearable before he leaves in the summer. He forced his own hand!

We have Ferguson looking close to tears, the MiB threatening Blooney’s life and Blooney states that he doesn’t rate a lot of players at United.

Whether he stays or not, he has caused a lot of damage. For that reason, it has been very entertaining.

The demise of United will be televised.

Three uses of the word 'very' in one post. Even for you that's a record. Can you explain the hilarious 'Blooney' comedy mis-spelling - are you saying he is overweight?

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

Yeah, they should really stop all the hero worship towards Rooney now. Same as Liverpool fans did with Gerrard when he put in then withdrew his transfer request eh?
