Because its not supposed to be funny makes it funny no matter what the situation, so for me it was as funny as last weeks ,i'm tittering before he even opens his mouth even if i know whats coming

I've had to bring this up again, watched this weeks when he was in Mexico and its without doubt the funniest thing on television at the moment!! I cant stand Ricky Gervais, but credit where its due, its genius! I missed the first one but seen the ones since, if Karl Pilkington doesnt win any awards for his role in this, its a joke! 10/10

Its priceless ,its a real laugh out loud for me and i'm going to miss it when its finished so i hope they get him to do something else ,he's definitely got a face for telly
It would appear that The Watcher is alone in thinking that this programme in contrived, Pilkington is so obviously NOT an idiot, he is a sharp, quick witted & educated individual who is putting on an act. The act was amusing at first, like any good joke is, but now it is surely wearing thin, lets hope he doesn't kill it off altogether.

Unfortunately I find myself agreeing with the watcher. The first episode was hilarious but as the series has gone on you can't help but feel that all the situations he is in are very much contrived and his reactions are just being acted out. It would be much more effective if he were genuinely coming across genuine strangers in these places and not people set up to be with him.
It's brilliant! Besides it's only a seven part thing. Each episode has been hilarious, and provides something a bit different. A breath of fresh air I'd say.
PS: Watcher, talking of wearing thin, the whole referring to yourself in the third person is definitely getting there.

Not that educated as he only came out with an E for History or Geography can't remember which and yes he is quick witted which makes it all the more funny ,i doubt very much he is acting his way through the series either ,i find him to be a natural at this
