Just because I can see and understand why clubs make these decisions, doesn't mean I will ever agree with it.
Which is why it is an unnecessary luxury , we are , and the RFL want us to be , primarily a business , junior development is both epensive and non profit making , it should be the least important part of a club at our level , we are still fixated in the past , in the missguided belief that we will one day uncover and bring through International quality players that will give us several years success and then move on with the club recieving worthwhile compensation
Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see 17 leythers on the pitch coached by a leyther , but it will not happen , and if it ever gets close to it , they will not have come through the Leigh club
